VICTORY!!! Cheltenham Republicans, Independents and Thinking Democrats had some great victories in November with the Extraordinary Victories of Commissioners Charlie McKeown and Drew Sharkey, as well as the outstanding performance of our School Board Candidates, Michael Livingston and Roy Hollinger. The work of our Volunteers, dedication of the Committee People, the efforts of our great candidates, coupled with CTRO’s leadership and financing led to achieving two outstanding victories. Not only that but one of the victories was the 1st New Republican Elected in 12 years and he did it in a Landslide! CONGRATULATIONS again DREW SHARKEY, the new First Ward Commissioner!
2008 offers the Voters the opportunity of Electing to State Office one of Cheltenham’s very own, Tom Ellis as State Treasurer. We the Taxpayers of PA need Tom to do what he did for Montgomery County while he was County Commissioner: Lowering Our Taxes! We also have the opportunity of Re-electing the very successful State Attorney General, Tom Corbett and also sending to the office of Auditor General, Mr. Chet Beiler, who will truly watch how our state tax dollars are spent.
Cheltenham is also is PROUD to present to you the very respected and qualified 2nd Congressional Representative Candidate, Mike Livingston. Mike lives in Elkins Park and is a recognized expert on taxation and fiscal policy. He is a graduate of Cornell University and Yale Law School and is Professor of Law at Rutgers-Camden School of Law.
