READING SUGGESTIONS

All of us associated with the C.T.R.O. enjoy reading about politics and government--and access to books has never been more convenient or inexpensive.

Technology has brought us an array of on-line bookstores, such as Amazon, Half.com, Barnes & Noble and Overstock.com which offer new and used books at significant savings. And don't overlook your public library system, where technology has broadened the array of available titles and even made on-line ordering possible. Details.         

How do we locate good books? In addition to all the time-tested ways, today we can tap into the research of diligent book lovers who share their lists via the internet.

Below are a sampling of Amazon lists compiled by subject matter, and covering a wide range both of subject and political view. For each, click on the hyperlink to access the list itself. Beyond encouraging everyone to be as widely read as possible no specific endorsement is intended by the inclusion or exclusion of any title.
